New Australian visa assessment and visa application rules in effect
The new Australian visa points test came into effect on the 1st of July 2011.
The points test passmark is now 65. This does not make it 'easier', unfortunately, because there are no occupation points.
The key to meeting the points test for an Australian visa application are:
- age
- English ability
- years doing the job
- qualifications
For your personal Australia visa assessment, done by a real person and not just an automatic computer, just log-in to your Client Area at the top-right.
You can then have an Australian visa assessment, done by the leading Australia visa agency.
Your points test is just one very simple part of the process, and it can be very mis-leading and totally incorrect if you have tried to do it yourself.
Moreover, simply meeting 65 points does NOT mean that you can definitely get a visa.
There are different skilled lists and state lists.
